Using PancakeSwap requires a MetaMask wallet, read more on how to initialize your wallet here:

Metamask on the BSC

(Trust Wallet can be used for Pancake Swap, but it is better to use MetaMask for BSC-EFX pTokens as using other entities in the Effect Network are easier to use on MetaMask.)

Adding EFX Token to PancakeSwap Token List

The Binance Smart Chain contract for EFX is 0xC51Ef828319b131B595b7ec4B28210eCf4d05aD0 It is very easy to be scammed on with fake tokens, so you shouldn't automatically trust one source for a contract address. You can see that both the website and have this address available. (The Ethereum address is due to Ptokens, the service that allows bridging adding support for Ethereum, but Effect.Network does not support Ethereum)

To change a target token, first you must select the token by clicking on it. In the following screenshot, PancakeSwap defaults to a selection where you are selling BNB in exchange for CAKE. To sell BNB for EFX, you must first click "CAKE".

EFX is not automatically recognized during PancakeSwap token selection, so the contract address must be inputted. (This is why it's important to make sure you have the correct address). Searching for "EFX" yields no results, so it is necessary to click "Manage Tokens"

After clicking "Mange Tokens", you must select "Tokens" and input the contract address. You should see "pTokens EFX" available. Click "Import".

A warning prompt will be displayed, ensure you have the correct contract address and click "Import" again.

Afterwards, when you search for "EFX" during token selection it will be displayed as an option. You may click on it to select it as one of your Swapping currencies.

Purchasing EFX

With EFX Selected, you are now ready to purchase EFX. Input the amount of BNB you would like to swap for EFX.

Click "Swap" when you are ready to swap. After reviewing your transaction, click "Confirm Swap" .

A MetaMask transaction should pop up in your browser with information about the transaction and a prompt to Reject or Confirm it. If you are satisfied with gas fee (transaction fee), click "Confirm".

PancakeSwap will provide a prompt when this MetaMask transaction is Confirmed or Rejected. Furthermore, it will provide an option to add EFX as a token. Click this if you would like to see EFX in your MetaMask Wallet.

Click "Add Token" to confirm it in MetaMask.

Selling EFX

You may click the downwards arrow to flip target tokens. So instead of swapping BNB for EFX, you will be swapping EFX for BNB.

Otherwise you can select the tokens manually. Before you can sell "EFX" you must Enable EFX. This allows PancakeSwap to manage your EFX tokens and is required to be able to swap EFX on any liquidity pool. (This means you must first consider a swap site safe and reliable, otherwise this transaction can be abused to steal your tokens). Click "Enable EFX" when you are ready.

A MetaMask transaction should pop-up prompting confirmation of giving pancakeswap.finance access to your EFX. Click "Confirm". It may take a minute for the transaction to process.

After enabling EFX, you will be able to swap EFX for BNB. Click "Swap" when you are ready.

Click "Confirm Swap"

Click "Confirm" in the MetaMask transaction that appears in your browser.

The transaction will be processed within a minute and the swap ramifications show in your MetaMask wallet.

Providing Liquidity on PancakeSwap

The Effect Network community encourages providing liquidity for the BNB/EFX pair on PancakeSwap.

Click "Add Liquidity" to get started.

Select BNB and EFX as the tokens you would like to Add Liquidity for. The amount of tokens must be an equal exchange value. So essentially, you are providing 50% EFX and 50% BNB in total value. Once you are ready, click "Supply".

Then "Confirm Supply"

Then confirm the MetaMask transaction.

It is recommended to add the Cake-LP corresponding to the BNB/EFX pair to Metamask.

Shortly, you will see your share of the Liquidity Pool.

Removing Liquidity on PancakeSwap

If you would like to withdraw your tokens from the Liquidity pool, you may click "Remove"

Select the portion you would like to remove and click "Enable"

MetaMask will prompt you to "Sign" a transaction. Click "Sign" to continue.

Finally, you may click "Remove" to withdraw your tokens.

Confirm the removal of your tokens.

Confirm the MetaMask transaction.

Once the transaction is complete. Your tokens should appear in your MetaMask wallet.
